Any excess funds for legal fees will be contributed to the national sacred sex communities' legal filing for a federal injunction to protect the religion from ongoing persecution, which has been on going for the last 20 years. A favorable ruling for relief from religious persecution in the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals will assist all whole body healers, energy and light body workers and many forms of non-traditional and alternative healing.
The value of the successful outcome of this litigation is much greater than freeing one woman or one temple on grounds of religious freedom. It re-affirms religious freedoms for all historically oppressed parties, and will help build positive case law for the freedom of the holy body, a person's right to direct their own personal energy, and the worship of the feminine aspect of God / Creator.
There are many temple practitioners who, like Tracy Elise, have been deprived of their right livelihood and are suffering under political, legal, social, and economic oppression brought about by this criminal prosecution.Any funds raised in the excess of $100,000 will be distributed on an as-needed basis by the Temple of Tantra, Maui to the other temple practitioners as they apply for financial aid.
